Unit 2 Learner Outcomes:
  After studying the virtual open laboratory information on heart anatomy, the student will be able to:
  • Identify various heart structures on dissected heart specimens, diagrams and models.
  • Identify the heart structures in the correct sequence for blood flow and for the presence of deoxygenated vs. oxygenated blood with respect to blood vessels, chambers and valves on dissected heart specimens, diagrams and models.
