Mission Statement:

The mission of Anoka Ramsey Community College Art Department is to provide quality education and encourage students to develop their full potential.

We offer an AFA in Art degree and opportunity to explore a variety of art media including glass blowing and bronze casting. We contribute to the liberal education of all students by offering introductory studio courses, art history, art appreciation and design.

Our mission is obtained as we prepare individuals to build their own studios or transfer to a Bachelor of Fine Arts program at a 4-year college or university.
