Audacity 1.2.6
Freeware! May be used to record and produce audio files through the
computer. Files may be exported in WAV, MP3, and Ogg Vorbis formats.

To produce MP3 files, the LAME MP3 encoder must be downloaded separately from

Other Common Software Used With Tablet PC’s
PowerPoint: Camtasia Studio integrates well with PowerPoint.
Tegrity: Another form of screen recording hardware/software in which video is sent to a dedicated server where it is rendered and made available in a variety of formats. My understanding is that this is quite expensive, perhaps $20,000 per unit.
Microsoft OneNote: A more robust digital notebook than Windows Journal. Ships with some tablet PC’s, integrated part of Microsoft Office 2007, Retails separately for $79-99.
