Documentation Using the 8th Edition of MLA

In all your citations, follow the cite tools when documenting sources from ProQuest, EBSCO, CQ Researcher and the Opposing Viewpoints database. No matter which of these subscription database sources you use, your entries should not look overly complicated or bizarre. If they do, you're not using the proper citation or the cite simply needs to be truncated to the root URL. Below are typical source citations for EBSCO periodicals, EBSCO scholarly journals, and ProQuest newspaper articles. Check to make sure your articles from these databases look similar.

The sources above were cut and pasted as-is from the cite tools made available on each database service. While the EBSCO examples are satisfactory (all anyone really has to do is format using double spacing and hanging indents after cutting and pasting), the last one--a ProQuest citation tool result--has several issues. Can you spot the problems?
