BUS 1112 Computer Concepts and Applications

Course Description

This computer literacy course focuses on computer technology concepts and software applications useful for work, school, and home offices.  Concepts include computer hardware and software, effective Web searching, security, ethics, privacy, trends, and other issues in computing.  Students will complete work in Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.  Approximately half of the course emphasis is on computer concepts and half of the course emphasis is on the use of computer applications.
