Course Description

This course uses Microsoft Project software to introduce project management theory and application.  Students will learn tools and techniques to create and execute projects in a business.  Topics include creating projects to include task definition and dependencies, project scheduling, managing critical path, allocating and costing of resources, consolidating projects, reporting, tracking project progress, utilizing network diagrams and Gantt charts, and sharing of project information.

Prerequisite

Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
