While the primary objective of this lab was to gain experience working with the Vernier LabProTM interface and LoggerPro software, you may be interested in looking at heating curves in Chapter 11 of Tro, 2nd edition, and colligative properties in Chapter 12.
You should be aware of the chemicals with which you will be working. Here are links to the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the chemicals used in this lab. Hard copies of these documents will be available in the laboratory, upon request.
