After you have entered the questions into the Question Library, you are ready to set up quiz.  On the main QUIZ screen, select New Quiz.

Setting up Quiz Properties On the New Quiz screen, the Properties tab should open by default. Enter a name for your quiz in the Name field. If you would like this quiz to be linked to a grade item, select the item from the drop-down menu or create a new grade item by click the add grade item link.  If you choose to use the grade item, you then have the option of  having an auto-export to the D2L gradebook (next line.) Select the box next to Score to allow the quiz attempt score to be seen immediately after the student has completed and submitted the quiz.

If you would like to set up hints for your questions, select the box beside Hints, and they will be displyed to the students. If you would like to be notified when a student submits a quiz for grading, enter the email address here (this can be internal or external email). In the Description field, enter a message that will be displayed to students prior to quiz availability. Enter text in the Introduction Message field to show to students immediately before they start the quiz. You may choose to add a page header and/or footer to the quiz screen.
