Workshop Schedule: D2L for Experienced IMS Users (6 hours)

This workshop is offered on campus as a series of six 1-hour tutorials or two 3-hour workshops.  Course designers may also choose to work independently with the online Designer's Guide and wizard that is loaded into each site when a new course account is established.
 

1st hour	Customizing Your Learning Environment: My Preferences, My Email, My Password, My Homepage Customizing Your Learning Environment: Setting Course Colors, Adding/Removing Course Tools, Customizing Course Navigation Bar
2nd hour	Communication Tools: Calendar, News, Pager, Email, Discussions, Chat, Classlist
3rd hour	Content Creation: Manage Files, Manage Content, Manage Course Components, Glossary, FAQ, Links
4th hour	Teacher Tools: Manage Participants, Course Feedback, Broken Link Viewer, Classlist Personal Tools: Locker and Journal.
5th hour	Evaluation Tools: Dropbox, Quizzes, Surveys
6th hour	Participant Feedback: Grades, Statistics, Checklist
