The two major handheld saws we use are the circular saw and the jig saw.The circular saw is used to make major rip or cross cuts in lumber or panel material, but is only used to make straight cuts.
The jig saw is used to cut thinner material, usually in curvilinear shapes (i.e., circles, ovals, non-straight lines).
