Functions of the Radial Arm Saw
- General lumber cutting, up to 12" wide.
- Cannot be used for 4"x4"
- With some careful setup, it can be used to cut angles, but the Chop Saw is much easier to set up and use.
- By adjusting the height of the blade, the Radial Arm Saw is very good for cutting notches or lap joints.
- As with all cutting tools, be sure to wear eye protection
