Gently pull the blade through the material. However, be cautious. The blade will have a tendency to "lurch forward," due to the forward rotation of the blade. You must both pull forward and at the same time not allow the blade to race forward, getting jammed in the material. The thicker and wider the material is, the greater the danger of the blade getting jammed.If the saw blade jolts forward into the material and quits turning, immediately turn off the machine and ask for assistance.
