Transferred to Augsburg College

How did the Anoka-Ramsey Music Program prepare you for transfer to a four-year music program?

“I planned to transfer to Augsburg College in Minneapolis and it was very easy to do so with the course work I had taken at Anoka Ramsey Community College. Anoka Ramsey's (AR) music program provided me with a very well rounded curriculum in music that would extend beyond the 
college and allow me to pursue the four-year degree I have chosen at my current college.

The academic counseling the college provided was extremely helpful and beyond the required coursework to obtain the Associate of Fine Arts degree at AR, the music faculty at the college was extremely dedicated and encouraging towards their students. 

I feel that this also, and probably above all, added to my perseverance in gaining the degree and moving onto the four-year program at Augsburg College.

Thanks to AR and the breadth of coursework, instruction and counseling they have provided me, I am graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Music Therapy at Augsburg College.”
