Family: Pea (Fabaceae)

Height: 2 - 6' (60 - 180cm)

Flower Size: 1/2" (1.3 cm)

Flowering Season: July - August

Ecological Preferences: Moist areas, found here only in the catch-pond east of the Campus Center building.

Select Characteristics: Has three oval or oblong leaflets per leaf. The fruits are hairy, jointed pods that stick to clothes and fur, thereby aiding in seed dissemination.
