I would recommend Louise Erdrich’s novel, Tracks, because of its very unique characters, its information about Native Americans and their culture at this time, and its beautiful use of language; however, a reader must be forewarned that the plot tends to move slowly at times and some things that happen in the novel might not be fully explained.
