Welcome to Upward Bound - Coon Rapids Campus

Upward Bound is one of seven TRIO programs established by Congress, through the Higher Education Act of 1964, to ensure equal access to a college education regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural background, economic circumstances or disabilities.

Upward Bound is funded to serve 100 students from seven area high schools: Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park, Coon Rapids, Osseo, Park Center and Spring Lake Park.

Upward Bound at Anoka-Ramsey College is 100% federally funded at $500,000 annually, with in-kind support from Anoka-Ramsey Community College.  A member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.  An Affirmative action/equal opportunity educator and employer.
