The Prairie Star Wind Farm is located in southeastern Minnesota approximately fifteen miles southeast of the town of Austin on high elevation, gently rolling prairie in southern Mower County, Minnesota.

Prairie Star Wind Farm will produce 362,000 megawatt-hours of clean energy which is enough to power approximately 36,000 Minnesota homes.
