Extra Credit Assignment

 Due at the beginning of class on October 28^th. You can earn up to 15 extra credit points.

Research both major party presidential candidates positions on issues related to education. You may use any (reliable) sources for the information, but you must cite the sources. Here are two places to start:

Create a chart which compares and contrasts the candidates’ positions on the following issues:

·         K-12 funding

·         School vouchers

·         No Child Left Behind law

·         Standardized Testing

·         Higher Education funding

Now, after learning about these issues, discuss which candidate you believe has a more thoughtful and, potentially, more successful education policy. Be sure to include specific reasons for WHY you think this.
