Ok, so my boyfriend drags me to his old girlfriend’s wedding. I didn’t want to go at all because I knew he never really got over her. As soon as he was back in the town where they dated, I was sure that all those old feelings would come rushing back. From the moment we got to town he was reminiscing. He took me to the spot where they had their first kiss. It was the dug out of the high school baseball diamond. He said just being there made him feel flushed and excited again. In fact, he said that being at any baseball field made him fell this way. Well…no more baseball games for him. Anyway, we got to the wedding and the song that the bride walked to was actually the same song that the dentist played last week when I went in for my root canal. I’m telling you, sitting there was excruciating. I started to drool and I swear I could actually feel the dentist’s drill all over again. (Well, I’ll tell you ever since this happened, every wedding I go to makes me drool a little). Finally the ceremony was over and we were off to the reception. I thought at least I would get a good dinner out of all this. Boy was I wrong. They served lobster! Now most people would think this was great, but when I was little I had eaten lobster just when I was getting over the flu and I got so sick. I puked all over my parent’s bed. It was awful. Well, as soon as they set the plate down in front of me I immediately started to gag. I took off for the bathroom, but unfortunately I didn’t get close enough. As I was on my way in, the bride was on her way out and well, it wasn’t pretty. I actually puked all over her. Can you believe that? Needless to say, I was humiliated. I snuck back to our table, grabbed my boyfriend and bolted for the door. Man, he is going to have to work really hard to make up for this fiasco with me!!!
