Kathleen teaches all levels of writing and the occasional literature course. Additionally, she teaches Study Skills and Honors Leadership on a regular basis. She is also the Cambridge Campus Phi Theta Kappa advisor. 

Kathleen is currently writing a sentence combining text and is collaborating on a “writing for firefighters” text with a colleague at Lake Superior College.

She earned both her B.A. and M.A. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with an emphasis on teaching writing.

In her spare time, she tends her extensive flower garden, the products of which have earned champion status at local county fairs.  During winter breaks, she’d rather be (deep sea) fishing.
