       Tracy Kristo

Tracy Kristo has been a part-time instructor at ARCC since 2006. He has taught on-campus courses such as ENGL 1121 and ENGL 0950, as well as on-line courses such as ENGL 2202: Intro to Lit and ENGL 2209: Children’s Literature.  He enjoys teaching writing because of its structure and creativity; plus, he likes to see students write in new and varied ways and grow as authors.  He likes teaching literature because analyzing literature enriches its meaning.

Tracy holds an MA in Education which culminated in a capstone project on invigorating classroom discussion. He also has earned an MA in English. His master’s thesis focused on the common thread of failure in the life and work of F. Scott Fitzgerald.

When he isn’t teaching, Tracy enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
