Tracy Kristo
has been a
part-time
instructor
at ARCC
since 2006.
He has
taught
on-campus
courses such
as ENGL 1121
and ENGL
0950, as
well as
on-line
courses such
as ENGL
2202: Intro
to Lit and
ENGL 2209:
Children’s
Literature.
He
enjoys
teaching
writing
because of
its
structure
and
creativity;
plus, he
likes to see
students
write in new
and varied
ways and
grow as
authors.
He
likes
teaching
literature
because
analyzing
literature
enriches its
meaning.
Tracy holds
an MA in
Education
which
culminated
in a
capstone
project on
invigorating
classroom
discussion.
He also has
earned an MA
in English.
His master’s
thesis
focused on
the common
thread of
failure in
the life and
work of F.
Scott
Fitzgerald.
When he
isn’t
teaching,
Tracy enjoys
spending
time with
his wife and
three
daughters.
