Phi Theta Kappa
One activity run by our chapter is the Golden Chalk Awards.
Each year the students of the Coon Rapids Campus nominate and vote for the faculty member who embodies teaching excellence.
The winner is awarded the Golden Chalk, and second place receives the Silver Chalk

Laura Migliorino, Art, winner of the 2008 Golden Chalk Award.
Traditionally the winner from the previous year presents a lecture
on any topic at the end of that year's reign.
