Biol 2201 Microbiology
Microbiology is the study of very small
organisms. In Microbiology, you will learn about
bacteria, fungi, protozoa, algae, and viruses. The
prerequisite for this course is BIOL1106, Principles
of Biology, or it's equivalent from another
institution, with at least a C. Although
Microbiology is a challenging class, most of my
students are fascinated by the subject matter.
This course is
web-supplemented,
using Desire2Learn
(D2L). Your course
notes and pre-lab
quizzes will be
posted on D2L, as
will some
assignments. To log
in to D2L, go to
Student Home, in the
ribbon menu above,
and click on D2L.
