Once you have set the arm height, turn the machine on, and wait until the blade gets up to speed, about 3 seconds.
Gently guide the wood through the blade, being very slow and deliberate in your use of the saw.
Don't force sharp curves. If the blade begins to bind, turn off the machine, remove the piece, then start again.
Note here Ben is wearing safety goggles. The machine does produce a lot of sawdust, so eye protection is important.
