The next step is to raise or lower the table so the drill enters the material as far as it needs to.
The height of the table will vary bit by bit, or according to the thickness of the material. Be sure to take your time to set the tool properly before using.
Always be sure the center of the table lines up with the drill bit so there is no danger of drilling through the wood and into the metal table.
