Which style guide should I use?

1. First, check with your instructor whether there is a preference as to citation style.

2. Do not mix and match, instead follow the rules of just one guide.

3. In addition to the individual manuals listed below, Duke Universities, has compiled a very useful site with several guides and examples.

4. Link to the websites and/or PDF documents below or check your library for the most up to date publications of these guides:
