       William Lund

Bill Lund teaches in the English Department at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where he has specialized in composition courses since 2003. His has taught English and writing at various colleges and universities in Florida, Indiana and Minnesota, including St. Paul College.

Bill has a B.A. in English and history from Westmar College in Iowa and an M.A. in English from Ball State University in Indiana. He completed additional graduate work at the University of Minnesota and St. Thomas University.

Although Bill began his career in education, he took a two-decade break in the midst of it to work as a professional writer for various companies and agencies. He worked as a speech writer, advertising copywriter, technical writer and copy editor for companies ranging from Coca-Cola to Delta Airlines. During this period, he also authored a series of books for junior high schools and libraries on various historical, career and sports topics; most of these books are still in print from Mankato’s Capstone Press. His years working as a writer for business applications strongly influence his approach to teaching composition and rhetoric.
