Andrew Aspaas, videographer and archivist

Mr. Aspaas, Chemistry faculty at ARCC, has 9 years of experience teaching general and organic chemistry courses, including those that make significant use of the POGIL method. In 2013, Mr. Aspaas received the MnSCU Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Teaching as one of four “Educators of the Year” in the state of Minnesota.  Along with five other ARCC chemistry faculty, he participated in the collaboration with Ever Cat fuels. Mr. Aspass has produced numerous instructional materials on chemistry laboratory technique and theory including videos, animations, and online quizzes to support seated and hybrid courses in chemistry, the latter of which he developed.
